The X Factor USA

The X Factor is an American television music competition to find new singing talent. The show is produced by creator Simon Cowell's company SYCOtv. It premiered on September 21, 2011 on Fox.
As part of the British X Factor franchise, the program's format has numerous differences from its rivals, including American Idol, among others. The competition is open to both solo artists and groups and has no upper age limit. Each judge is assigned one of four categories: either girls between 12 and 30, boys between 12 and 30, individuals over 30, or groups (some of which may be formed from rejected soloists after the audition process). Through the live shows, the judges act as mentors to their category, helping to decide song choices, styling and staging, while judging contestants from the other categories; they also compete to ensure that their act wins the competition, thus making them the winning judge. The winner stands to receive a $5 million recording contract and will also star in their own Pepsi commercial, which will air at Super Bowl XLVI on NBC.
Although American Idol went on to become a huge success and rated number 1 for (as of present) seven consecutive seasons, in its home country of the UK, the original Pop Idol did not fare so well.

Justin Bieber la rompió en Argentina

CONTEXTO:
En su gira latinoamericana, justin paso por Mexico en primer lugar, donde hizo 3 conciertos, luego Brasil, con 3 más, después Argentina con 2 y Chile, Peru y Venezuela, en ese orden, con 1 show cada uno, y en total convocaron a mas de medio millon de latinas.
Nunca vimos twittear a Justin como twitteo durante la gira Sudamericana! Además de estar en vísperas de su nuevo album de navidad, estaba muy emocionado con sus fans latinas, y nos lo supo demostrar.

EL CONCIERTO:
El pasado 12 y 13 de Octubre, el artista se presentó en el Estadio River Plate, la primera vez con entradas AGOTADAS, la segunda dejó lugares libres solo en las plateas mas lejanas. El concierto duró 1hs cuarenta, comenzó a cantar a las 21:10pm y terminó a las 22:50pm aproximadamente. El césped del Monumental fue convertido en un gigantesco VIP, donde los precios oscilaron entre los 150 pesos (las populares) a los 1.250 (vips preferenciales), aunque en este caso no se utilizó el formato "meet and greet".

El dia del primer concierto, el Miercoles 12 de Octubre, estaba pronosticado lluvia. A las 19:30hs o poco antes ya llovia en el Estadio, pero eso no fue problema, con pilotos y camperas las fans se acomodaron en sus lugares y esperaron a su idolo; gran cantidad vestidas con ropa violeta, remeras con su cara, bandanas y banderas de argentina.
El evento empezó a las 8pm con Cobra Starship como banda soporte, que entretuvo a las beliebers con sus canciones como "You make me feel" y "Good girls go bad" mientras la lluvia seguia, e interactuaron con ellas con el ping pong conocido "when I say cobra, you say starship" donde Gabe Saporta y Victoria Asher, miembros de la banda, gritaron Cobra, y el publico contestó Starship 3 veces.

Luego una cuenta regresiva de 15 minutos separaba al publico de la llegada de Justin Bieber. Casi no llovia, solo habia viento. Mientras tanto, el DJ Tay James pasó musica electronica muy divertida, como Usher. Todo el Estadio gritó los ultimos 10 segundos, hasta llegar al 0, cuando las luces se apagaron, el escenario se ilumino de verde y al ritmo de "Love Me" salió Bieber, con su vestuario en rojo y negro con anteojos. Los gritos de las chicas inundaron el monumental. Después vino "Bigger". Y al finalizar, quedo parado durante varios segundos, en posicion de estatua con los brazos abiertos.
Ese fue el principio de una gran recital, Justin con su SWAG supo llevarlo muy bien, y canto las canciones de su repertorio mas dos "sorpresa". Con 6 bailarines, 4 coristas, 6 musicos, pantallas gigantes, Kenny, Scooter y Pattie al costado del escenario viendolo actuar y miles de beliebers, fue una noche inolvidable.
Salió de la pose, sacandose los anteojos, para saludar comenzó diciendo "¿Cómo está Buenos Aires? Bienvenidos a mi mundo, estoy muy emocionado por venir a la Argentina por primera vez. Yo hago cualquier cosa por ustedes. Yo quiero verlas sonreír, porque si ustedes sonríen, yo sonrío", cantó "U Smile" y agradeció por haberlo esperado bajo la lluvia. Después, "Runaway Love".

Luego cantó en version acustica, con su guitarra "Never Let U Go"  y "Favorite Girl"  . Previamente, un integrante del equipo salió a buscar a la ollg de la noche por el Vip Platinum, ella fue Victoria Molina, le cantó "One Less Lonely Girl" y le entrego un ramo de flores, aunque antes dijo al publico: "Nunca había venido a Buenos Aires y, la verdad, hay chicas muy lindas aquí. Donde estan las chicas solteras?" y comenzo la canción, haciendo junto a todas el paso de ollg moviendo la mano derecha. Luego canto "That Should Be Me".

Después de la cancion, mostraron un video con "Stuck In The Moment" sonando, de cuando era chico, donde tocaba la bateria y soñaba con ser artista, patinaba, se tiraba a la pileta y terminaba con un "Quiero estar en televisión". Una coreografía al estilo Michael Jackson, con los clásicos pasos del rey del pop y los covers de"Wanna Be Startin' Somethin" y "Walk This Way", acompañaron la presentacion del siguiente tema, "Somebody To Love" . Al terminarlo, hizo un corazón con las manos para las fans.
“Argentina es muy especial”, dijo. Llamó al público a vivir sus sueños y cantó "Never Say Never". Después pidio a todas que suban su dedo indice, porque iba a cantar "One Time", asi lo hicimos, y con esa canción, estalló River, con su coreografia.
En un pequeño entretiempo de 10 minutos, los coristas se lucieron cantando covers conocidos de Pittbull, Katy Perry y Adele. Justin volvió, los presentó y jugo con la consola de sonido, antes de hacer un gran espectaculo tocando la bateria, lo que genero gritos incesables por su gran talento para hacerlo. Luego bailó "Party Rock Anthem" la cancion con la frase que él mismo hizo tan conocida "Everyday Im shufflin´" con pasos de Michael Jackson y su estilo de baile tan peculiar.

Cantó "Eenie Meenie" y luego trajeron el piano, y con las luces bajas cantó "Down To Earth", que simulando ser la ultima cancion, al finalizarla, se apago todo y el se fue.

Después de unos minutos de gritos en la pantalla aparecieron las frases "¿Quieren más?¿ De verdad?¡Hagan ruido ! ¡Más fuerte!¡Más! Justin regresó y dijo en castellano, “Te amo con todo mi corazón, Argentina”, y preguntó qué canción querían escuchar. En ese momento cada belieber pidio la que quiso, la mayoria "Baby", yo en cambio, grite con todas mis fuerzas que cante "Mistletoe" que tanto se lo pedi por twitter.. En ese momento saco una bandera de Argentina y, solo por ese dia, el 12 de octubre, canto de su nuevo álbum "Under The Mistletoe", su hit "Mistletoe" y tambien "I´ll Be". Sentado en la escalerita que separaba el escenario mayor de un bloque mas cercano al publico.

Después de eso, sí, finalmente preguntó “Who wants to be my baby?” y canto "Baby".
Sus cambios de vestuario no fueron drásticos, simplemente paso de estar con un chaleco de cuero y anteojos, a estar en remera sola y gorra, y luego una campera con su nombre en brillos. Y al fin del recital salió en musculosa negra y corrio por el escenario. En las pantallas pudo leerse en inglés la leyenda "Buenas noches, muchas gracias. Con amor Justin"

Tambien cumplieron el sueño de muchas fans, de poder responder Bieber cuando digan Justin. Asi fue, cuando dijeron, "when I say Justin, you say Bieber" el Estadio gritó 3 veces con fuerza el apellido de biebs.
El merchandising oficial consto de una revista ($100), remeras ($100), fotos y posters (e/ $50 y $100). Y el no oficial, a la salida y entrada del estadio, contaba con llaveros, credenciales, vinchas, remeras, posters, y fotos, que conseguias a precios menores a $30.
En el buffet podias encontrar hamburguesas con queso ($20), alfajores($10), turrones ($5) entre otras golosinas, y bebida.

JUSTIN EN ARGENTINA:
Pero Bieber no vino solo esos dos dias, sino que se quedo 4 dias: llego el Martes 11 a la madrugada (2am), en un avion privado que alquiló junto a su equipo y banda soporte. Y se fué el Sábado a la mañana. Hospedado en el hotel Faena, en la Suite Imperial, de U$S 6500 la noche y 300m2; convocó a cientos de fanaticas que lo esperaron en la puerta del mismo, cantando sus canciones y deseando que salga a saludar por una ventana o balcon, y que para su suerte, lo hizo el jueves 13 desde la terraza del hotel y saco fotos a la multitud con su celular. Las twitteras argentina recibieron a bieber con 2 trending topics: #BIEBSWELCOMETOARGENTINA y WELCOME TO ARGENTINA.
Estuvo escoltado por varias motos de policia siempre que se movió en la ciudad, y mas o menos 20 hombres de seguridad profesional. Se movio en 8 autos distintos, para intentar que no lo sigan cuando saliese del hotel, un Bora, una Picasso, un Honda y 3 camionetas Mercedes Benz.
Además de su lista de pedidos prescripta, pidio en el hotel: una playstation3 y un led gigante para divertise con su equipo, licuados y te.

1er dia, MARTES: city tour por la ciudad de Buenos Aires, fue a Recoleta. Foto con monumento Carlos María de Alvear, paseo por Plaza Francia, donde dio de comer a patos, y pisó un charco de agua! Tomó un helado en Freddo, donde se saco otra foto, colgado del cartel, y degustó el "dulce de leche con brownie" además de twittear al respecto. Regresó al hotel, visitó el Faena Arts Center. Por la noche, fue a cenar al restaurant Cabaña Las Lilas, en Puerto Madero, donde probó la carne argentina. Al volver al hotel, hicieron un brindis por el cumpleaños de Gabe, cantante de Cobra Starship. Tweet:
"ARGENTINA!!!! Tomorrow is show 1 of 2... u READY!!!?!??!" 

2do dia, MIERCOLES: estuvo a la mañana en el hotel, pasando el tiempo con su madre. Viendo el noticiero twitteó respecto a lo que veia de sus fans argentinas y su biebermania, en la puerta del hotel. Se tomo el tiempo para hacer un video a sus beliebers, agradeciendoles, con fotos divertidas y la promocion de su nuevo disco, Under The Mistletoe. Tweet:
"haha. on the news here it says my fans attacked the hotel. they got this one girl looking like CHUCK NORRIS on the attack. #epic"
A las 15hs salió para el estudio de Susana Gimenez, donde tendria la entrevista, sin cantar para cuidar su voz, en un principio sin público, pero al final con gran cantidad de fans que dejaron pasar al estudio, separadas por vallas del cantante. Intentó hablar español y francés. Ademas de decir que le encantaria morir siendo besado por chicas, imitó a Elvis cantando y bailando, y despues cuando lo twitteó puso el hashtag "#ELVISPELVIS" que fue tt MUNDIAL en menos de 10 minutos, y por más de un dia. Tweet:
"i liked this interview. she was really cool. thank u Argentina. (youtube interview link)" 

Despues de la entrevista, partio para su primer show en river, en 6 autos con el equipo, y 2 patrulleros. Dio el concierto, y al finalizar, salio rapidamente con la misma comitiva en contramano, en una calle cortada para él y no paró en semaforos tampoco. Ya en el hotel, todos festejaron que su primer show en Argentina habia sido un exito. Tweet:

3er dia, JUEVES: después de la noche agotadora de concierto, aprovechó la mañana para dormir, y al mediodia fue a almorzar al SuchiClub en la Recova, recorriedo la 9 de Julio. Volvió al hotel, y a la tarde salio a saludar a la terraza. A las 17hs fue al Estadio River a preparar su segundo show.

4to dia, VIERNES: disfrutó de su último dia en Argentina, almorzando en el hotel. Después, a las 14:30hs fue con custodios y parte de su equipo a jugar al basketball, en la cancha del gimnasio Megatlón que cerró para él, por una hora. Paso la tarde en el hotél, y no olvido de ir a la tienda de regalos. A la noche, pidió room service: pizzas y helado. Los rumores dicen que esa noche hubo una fiesta en el hotel, a la que invito a argentinas y famosos, aunque no se confirmo que haya sido de tal índole, sí sabemos que hubo una pequeña celebracion como despedida de Argentina.

5to dia, SABADO: desayunó en el hotel y a las 10am hizo el check out para ir a Aeroparque a subir nuevamente a su avion privado rumbo a Chile.

The collaboration between the Italian house Versace and the Swedish giant H&M is all over the news by now, and we can clearly see why! This Fall, H&M presents us another extraordinary teamwork. The other dresses range from $149 to $249, and accessories like a silk purse will set you back $199. Expensive for H&M, but cheap for Versace, which is the whole point of these collabs, isn’t it? There are even some homeware items, like pillows and throw blankets.

Updated Friday November 4, 10.08am: Music legend Prince will perform at the Versace for H&M fashion show in New York next Tuesday. The star, who is a personal favourite of Donatella Versace, will be joined by Nicki Minaj. "I am so pleased to share with so many the excitement of this collaboration with H&M," Versace told WWD. "To have my friend, the great, the amazing, the one and only Prince, and the extraordinary Nicki Minaj both perform at the event, will create exactly the feeling of joy and glamour I want this partnership to express."
Updated Thursday July 28, 9am: David Beckham has become the latest name to sign up with H&M as part of its all-star repertoire. The footballer and fashion icon has teamed up with the Swedish high street store to launch his bodywear range for men. The partnership will be launched on February 2 2012 worldwide in time for Valentine's Day.

Nicki Minaj was born on December 8, 1982, in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago, but moved to the Queens borough of New York City at age five. Pink Friday became a commercial success, peaking at the top of the U.S. Billboard 200. and was later certified Platinum by the RIAA a month after its release. She became the first artist ever to have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. "Your Love" reached number-one on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart, making Minaj the first female artist to top the chart unaccompanied since 2002. After the release she went on to release a third single from the album, "Nobody's Perfect" which she labelled the song as one of her favourite songs on the album. On 10 August 2011, Jessie J revealed that her album's fourth single would be "Who's Laughing Now".

She began her career as a songwriter for artists including Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera. The Brit behind Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A", Jessie J, has stepped out into the light to claim her own fame. 

She went through High School and began channeling down her talent again when completing her study at the BRIT school and joining an-all girl group. Although she's in the entertainment business, she is far from the wild life full of drugs and alcohol. Jessie has confirmed she is bisexual. After weeks of speculation, Jessie J confirmed on 2 August 2011 that she would be shaving her hair off for charity in 2012. Speaking via her official Twitter account she said: “It’s hair, It will grow back. Even if it takes 2 years, if it saves lives it’s worth it. Even if its 1 life that’s something.”

On 12 June 2011 at the Capital Radio Summertime Ball, she ruptured several tendons in her foot during rehearsals, and performed her set the following day while sitting on a gilded throne on the MTV Video Music Award´s as the guest.
