Valeria Smith, the designer of Jackie Smith and Valeria Smith Buenos Aires, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was formally educated in graphic design, and built a career working in brand strategy projects both in Argentina and the United States (where she lived 5 years), before she decided to follow her passion and star designing hanbags. The brand is also in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
After three years of enjoying greatb success in Argentina, she decided to launch a luxury accesories brand carrying her name in New York by opening a flagship store in the heart of Soho.
Smith´s distinctive style is achieved by a combinaton of colours, textures and apparent basic shapes to create objects of desire, uniques and beautiful. Prices range from U$400 to U$1000 in both countries.The collections are designed in Argentina (%85) and Italy (%15).

Valeria Smith Buenos Aires: the place is decorated with furniture taken from Argentina. The neighbors of the shop are Kenneth Cole, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, La Perla, Mont Blanc, Armani Casa, Diesel and Patagonia.

Jackie Smith: it has six collections a year with four lines each. It is a strategy, to offer new developments to the clients as the season goes. Opinion: I LOVE Jackie Smith, and now I LOVE Valeria Smith BsAs too! I always see Jackie Smith as the Argentinian Hermés but with more color and fun. Those handbags made an outfit. Just, perfection.
