Jessica Ellen Cornish 27 March 1988 (age 23) Redbridge, London, UK. Better known by her stage name Jessie J, is an English recording artist, singer and songwriter, currently signed to Island Records. 
Her debut single, "Do It Like a Dude", was released in November 2010 two on the UK Singles Charts, and her debut album, Who You Are, was released in February 2011 and charted at number two on the UK Albums Chart. "Price Tag" reached number one in the United Kingdom for two weeks, Ireland and New Zealand, and reached the top 10 in nineteen other countries. After the release she went on to release a third single from the album, "Nobody's Perfect" which she labelled the song as one of her favourite songs on the album. On 10 August 2011, Jessie J revealed that her album's fourth single would be "Who's Laughing Now".
She began her career as a songwriter for artists including Chris Brown, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys and Christina Aguilera. The Brit behind Miley Cyrus' "Party in the U.S.A", Jessie J, has stepped out into the light to claim her own fame. 
She went through High School and began channeling down her talent again when completing her study at the BRIT school and joining an-all girl group. Although she's in the entertainment business, she is far from the wild life full of drugs and alcohol. Jessie has confirmed she is bisexual. After weeks of speculation, Jessie J confirmed on 2 August 2011 that she would be shaving her hair off for charity in 2012. Speaking via her official Twitter account she said: “It’s hair, It will grow back. Even if it takes 2 years, if it saves lives it’s worth it. Even if its 1 life that’s something.”
On 12 June 2011 at the Capital Radio Summertime Ball, she ruptured several tendons in her foot during rehearsals, and performed her set the following day while sitting on a gilded throne on the MTV Video Music Award´s as the guest.
